Addressing a gathering of international business leaders, including a significant number of Chinese investors, Sharif emphasized the strategic value of this partnership.

Highlighting the enduring strength of Pak-China relations, Sharif remarked that the friendship between the two nations transcends geographical and political boundaries. He welcomed the substantial interest from Chinese investors looking to explore new business opportunities in Pakistan.

Reflecting on his recent visit to the Chinese Agriculture and Research Centre, Sharif expressed admiration for the center’s scale and technological advancements. He announced plans to send 1,000 Pakistani students to China for advanced agricultural training, aiming to enhance Pakistan’s agricultural exports by an additional $7 billion.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the imminent launch of Phase 2 of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which will focus on Business-to-Business (B2B) engagements in agriculture and information technology. Sharif encouraged business representatives to enter into B2B agreements to leverage the opportunities presented by CPEC and further strengthen bilateral economic ties.
